Elevating the Stanza Brand
Stanza is an FDA-cleared prescription digital therapeutic developed by Swing Therapeutics to help treat fibromyalgia symptoms using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
When I joined the team, the Stanza app had a cohesive visual identity, but its marketing materials didn’t reflect that same level of polish. There was an opportunity to bring more of the app’s personality into its marketing presence and extend the experience beyond the app itself.
Challenge
The challenge was to elevate Stanza’s marketing presence to match the strength of the product experience. This meant strengthening the App Store messaging and visuals while also creating the brand’s first T-shirt, designed to thank research participants, build community, and extend awareness beyond the app.
Approach
I partnered with marketing to refine how Stanza communicated its value, focusing on clearer, more benefit-driven messaging. I brought the app’s illustration system into the App Store experience to create stronger visual cohesion and a more inviting presence.
For the T-shirt, I developed a series concept rooted in the app’s therapeutic themes. Each design translated key ideas from the product, living my values, creating space, persisting, not resisting, into wearable affirmations. The goal was to create something participants could feel proud to wear while reinforcing the core philosophy of the app.
App Store & Google Play Graphics
I refreshed the store graphics across Apple and Google to better communicate Stanza’s value and introduce the app with greater clarity and cohesion.
Stanza T-Shirt Series
I designed a series of T-shirts to thank the research participants and help them feel proud of their contributions. The goal was to create something meaningful, something that celebrated the community behind Stanza while also helping spread the word.
